Le transporteur maritime engage sa responsabilité lorsque la livraison tardive de la marchandise par lui transportée pour le compte de son client cause un préjudice à ce dernier. Ce retard dans la livraison de la marchandise est une faute dont le client peut demander réparation sur le fondement de la responsabilité civile contractuelle en obtenant du juge la condamnation du transporteur indélicat à lui verser des dommages et intérêts. Ce transporteur ne saurait, pour tenter de dégager sa responsabilité, prétendre qu'il n'était qu'un commissionnaire de transport alors qu'il avait auparavant fait des offres de transport à la victime.

On Monday 14 April 2025, the OHADA Permanent Secretariat welcomed to its Headquarters in Yaoundé (Cameroon) students of the Master Programme in International Litigation of the Institute of International Relations of Cameroon (IRIC) and a delegation of the OHADA Club of the same Institute.
