59th Session of the OHADA Council of Ministers: Committee of Experts Sets the Stage for Ministerial Deliberations

In addition to reviewing the Permanent Secretary's report on the activities of OHADA institutions during the first half of 2025, the session will consider several draft instruments designed to further strengthen the Organization's institutional governance. Furthermore, the Council of Ministers, which will officially convene on Thursday, 11 September 2025, will proceed with the election of five new judges to the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (CCJA).

Message from the Permanent Secretary of OHADA in Tribute to Mrs. Fatou SECK DIALLO

With her passing, we mourn not only the loss of an iconic figure, but also that of a strong, compassionate, and steadfast advocate for the advancement of OHADA. May her legacy endure - a legacy that succeeded in uniting energies around a common ideal and making OHADA a living law: a living law within the academic community, a law that inspires and guides practitioners across all professions, and a law that supports business practice and the shared pursuit of development in Africa.

Working Visit of the Permanent Secretary to the Congolese Authorities

During his stay, the Permanent Secretary was first received on 31 July 2025 by Mr. Ange Aimé BENINGA, Minister of Justice, Human Rights and the Promotion of Indigenous Peoples of the Republic of Congo. The two dignitaries held in-depth discussions on the functioning of OHADA institutions, the Organization's strategic orientations, the business climate in the Republic of Congo, and the upcoming institutional events scheduled to take place in N'Djamena (Chad).

The Permanent Secretary Received in Audience by the President of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of OHADA

This meeting enabled the Permanent Secretary to discuss issues related to Chad's mandate at the head of OHADA. The improvement of the business climate in Africa, the strategic positioning of OHADA, the institutional deadlines, with a particular attention on the organization of asummit of Heads of State.
