La caution personnelle ne peut soustraire à l'exécution de l'obligation principale au motif que le créancier aurait passivement assisté à l'organisation de l'insolvabilité du débiteur principal sans réagir. Et ce d'autant plus qu'au sens de l'article 13 de l'Acte uniforme OHADA portant organisation des sûretés, la caution est tenue au paiement de la dette en cas de défaillance du débiteur principal, et après mise en demeure de celui-ci restée sans effet.

On Monday 14 April 2025, the OHADA Permanent Secretariat welcomed to its Headquarters in Yaoundé (Cameroon) students of the Master Programme in International Litigation of the Institute of International Relations of Cameroon (IRIC) and a delegation of the OHADA Club of the same Institute.
This event, organised by the Department of Business Law of the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the said University, was enriched by five presentations.
