Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, OHADA Permanent Secretary, was received in audience on Friday 9 May 2025 by H.E. Mr Youssouf TOM, Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals in charge of Human Rights of the Republic of Chad, President in office of the OHADA Council of Ministers.
OHADA's Permanent Secretariat and the Higher Regional Council for Entrepreneurs (HCRE) held a virtual meeting on Monday 5 May 2025 with a view to exploring the possibilities of collaboration for the effective implementation of the Status of Entrepreneur in the States Parties.
On Tuesday 29 April 2025, the Boardroom of the University of Paris 2 Panthéon Assas hosted a conference to present the book entitled “Droit OHADA et autres systèmes de droit écrit - Études comparatives et perspectives d'élargissement” (OHADA law and other written law systems - comparative studies and prospects for expansion).
Co-organised by the OHADA Permanent Secretariat and the Young Employers' Organisation (OJEP), the theme of this event is: “How to invest safely in Africa thanks to OHADA instruments in sectors with high growth potential”.
Today, 1 May 2025, marks the 139th International Labour Day, a highly symbolic day dedicated to the celebration of workers around the world. On this occasion, OHADA extends its warmest congratulations to you and renews its commitment to the consolidation of a strong human capital, combining competence, loyalty, dedication, and responsibility, to support the economic and social development of Africa.
On Monday 14 April 2025, the OHADA Permanent Secretariat welcomed to its Headquarters in Yaoundé (Cameroon) students of the Master Programme in International Litigation of the Institute of International Relations of Cameroon (IRIC) and a delegation of the OHADA Club of the same Institute.
This event, organised by the Department of Business Law of the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the said University, was enriched by five presentations. First to take the floor during the proceedings was Dr. Alexis NDZUENKEU, head of OHADA delegation. He addressed participants in English on the following topic: “OHADA and its Institutions: a Guarantee of Economic Growth in Africa”.
The Faculty of Law and Economics of Mohamed V University in Rabat has been hosting since this morning an international conference on “OHADA Law: Challenges and Perspectives”.
The Permanent Secretary of OHADA, Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, paid a courtesy visit on Wednesday 16 April 2025 to Her Excellency Ms. Jeannette Marcelle GOTCHANGA, Ambassador of the Central African Republic to Cameroon.
