Au regard de l'article 28 du code CIMA « toutes actions dérivant d'un contrat d'assurance sont prescrites par deux ans à compter de l'évènement qui y donne naissance » ; en outre, l'article 7 alinéa 2 du code CIMA exige que « toute addition ou modification du contrat d'assurance primitif doit être constatée par un avenant signé des parties ». En l'espèce, des treize (13) pièces versées comme preuve de la créance, onze (11) polices d'assurance ne peuvent être accueillies favorablement.

On Monday 14 April 2025, the OHADA Permanent Secretariat welcomed to its Headquarters in Yaoundé (Cameroon) students of the Master Programme in International Litigation of the Institute of International Relations of Cameroon (IRIC) and a delegation of the OHADA Club of the same Institute.
This event, organised by the Department of Business Law of the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the said University, was enriched by five presentations. First to take the floor during the proceedings was Dr. Alexis NDZUENKEU, head of OHADA delegation. He addressed participants in English on the following topic: “OHADA and its Institutions: a Guarantee of Economic Growth in Africa”.
