On 17 October 2025, the Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA) celebrates the 32nd anniversary of the signing of its founding Treaty in Port Louis, Mauritius. To mark this milestone, the Regional Advanced School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) — OHADA's Regional Training, Capacity-Building and Research Institute — hosts an Open Day at its headquarters in Porto-Novo, Benin, to showcase the wide range of services it offers to the public.

32nd anniversary of OHADA: Open day and graduation ceremony for ERSUMA diploma programmes, Porto-Novo, 17 October 2025

On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), the Regional Advanced School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) is organising, on Friday 17 October 2025, an Open Day coupled with the Graduation Ceremony for the first cohort of trainees who successfully completed the following diploma programmes: Specialised Diploma in Corporate Governance (DSGE), Specialised Diploma in OHADA Procedures (DSPO) and OHADA Arbitration Certificate (CAO).

Public defence of theses under the auspices of the OHADA Specialisation Diplomas corporate governance - enforcement procedures

The Regional Advanced School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of the Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA) is pleased to announce the holding of public thesis defences, marking the end of the training programme for the first batch of candidates pursuing the OHADA Specialisation Diplomas. These academic proceedings will take place on 22 and 23 September 2025 at ERSUMA Headquarters in Porto-Novo, with parallel participation available via videoconference.
