The Permanent Secretary of OHADA, Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, was received on Monday, 1 December 2025, by Mr. Henri-Claude OYIMA, Minister of State, Minister of Economy, Finance, Debt and State Holdings of the Gabonese Republic.
Their discussions focused primarily on the life of the Organisation, its financing and economic impact, as well as on strengthening the institutional capacities of the OHADA National Commission to ensure better ownership of business law.
The Minister of State commended the initiatives undertaken and encouraged OHADA to pursue its high-impact economic actions, including the OHADA-Private Sector Meetings (ROSEP), the Forum on State-Owned Enterprise Governance (FOGEP), and the International Congress on the Business Climate in Africa (CICAAf), whose inaugural editions are scheduled for 2026.
The Permanent Secretary was also received on 24 November by Mrs. Jacqueline ADIABA-NKEMBE, Chairperson of the Central African Financial Market Supervisory Commission (COSUMAF). The meeting, which focused mainly on strengthening cooperation between the two institutions, provided an opportunity to reaffirm their commitment to working together for the development of African financial markets, particularly those of Central Africa.
The Permanent Secretary finally held a working session with Mr. Ghislain MOANDZA MBOMA, Director-General of the National Agency for Investment Promotion (ANPI), and Mr. François JACQUIER-PELISSIER, Central Africa Regional Director of AFD.
