The “Editions de l'ERSUMA” is pleased to announce the publication of a book entitled: “Les valeurs mobilières dans l'espace OHADA” (Securities in the OHADA AREA), written by Prof. Robert NEMEDEU.

This reference book on a technical subject provides an in-depth, up-to-date analysis of the legal provisions governing securities in member countries of the Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA).

At a time when economic integration in Africa increasingly relies on a secure and harmonised legal area, OHADA law plays a central role in facilitating trade and investment. Therefore, this book highlights recent legislative developments, in particular the revision of the Uniform Act on the Law of Commercial Companies and Economic Interest Groups (AUSCGIE).

About the author:

Robert NEMEDEU is an Associate Professor of Law, CAMES Professor and graduate of the Paris Bar School (EFB).

He is also Honorary Director of the Judicial Studies Centre (CEJ), Founder of the quarterly Economic Law Journal “LE NEMRO&rdquio;, and has been teaching financial markets law for 20 years. He is also a trainer for the OHADA Speciality Diploma in Corporate Governance and an advisor to ERSUMA.
