Official Visit of the Permanent Secretary to Togo
During an official visit to Lomé (Togo), the OHADA Permanent Secretary, Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, was received in audience on Thursday, 27 November 2025, by Mr. Essowè Georges BARCOLA, Minister of Economy and Finance, and by Mr. Pacôme Y. ADJOUROUVI, Minister of Justice and Human Rights and Keeper of the Seals of the Togolese Republic, both members of the OHADA Council of Ministers.
The discussions, conducted in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, touched on several key issues relating to the Organisation's activities and overall governance. The Permanent Secretary expressed his gratitude to the Togolese authorities for their steadfast commitment to ensuring the regular and efficient operation of OHADA Institutions. He also discussed with his hosts the upcoming presidency of the Togolese Republic at the helm of OHADA, as well as a number of activities to be planned in support of the sustainable and continuous improvement of the business and investment climate in Togo.
