Professor Mayatta Ndiaye Mbaye, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, was received in audience on Thursday 3 July 2025 by H.E. Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, Head of State of Chad and President-in-office of the Conference of Heads of State and Government. The audience took place in the presence of H.E. Youssouf Tom, Minister of Justice, Keeper of the seals in charge of Human Rights of Chad and President-in-office of the Council of Ministers, Mr. Tahir Hamid Nguilin, Minister of State, Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy and Planning, Mr. Mahamat Ahmat Alhabo, Minister of State, Secretary General at the Presidency and other close collaborators of the Head of State.

This meeting enabled the Permanent Secretary to discuss issues related to Chad's mandate at the head of OHADA. The improvement of the business climate in Africa, the strategic positioning of OHADA, the institutional deadlines, with a particular attention on the organization of asummit of Heads of State.

The President-in-office of the Conference of Heads of State and Government reaffirmed his country's commitment to OHADA's ideals and promised Chad's exemplary and lasting support for the Organization's actions.
