The High Regional School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of the Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), in partnership with the Government of the Republic of Niger through its Ministries in charge of Justice, Economy and Finance, is organising a series of subsidised training sessions on the Uniform Acts from 18 to 22 April 2022. These training sessions will be in physical attendance in Niamey and by videoconference. The World Bank under the Investment Climate Improvement Project (ICAP) funded the project. These trainings aim to popularise the OHADA Uniform Acts, to promote alternative dispute resolution method, to build the capacity of legal professionals, and to stimulate investment in Niger.

Training session n°1: “Preventing and managing business difficulties: contributions of the Uniform Act organizing collective proceedings and Debts ‘clearing”
Duration/Dates: Three (03) days, 18 - 20 April 2022

Training session n°3: "Introduction to the practice of arbitration and mediation

Target audience: judges, arbitrators, mediators and managers of arbitration and mediation centres, lawyers, notaries, managers and economic operators and academics.

- Trainer 1: Prof. Bachir TALFI IDRISSA, Associate Professor of Law, Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey, Niger.

Physical attendance
Forty (40) participants will attend each training session in person, as nominated by the Ministry of Justice of Niger. Ten (10) additional places are open for each session, in physical attendance registration against payment of the corresponding training fees.
Participation by videoconference in sessions 1 and 2 is open to the public against payment of the corresponding training fees.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR FEE-BASED AUDITORS
ONLINE REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY FOR ALL TRAININGS.
FILLING IN THE ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM IS CONSIDERED AS PROVISIONAL REGISTRATION.
PAYMENT OF THE TRAINING FEES IS CONSIDERED AS FINAL REGISTRATION.
AUDITORS ARE REQUESTED TO CONFIRM THEIR REGISTRATION WITH PAYMENT OF THE FEES.
Discounts:
- 10% for groups of three (3) or more people from the same company/organisation/firm/...
- 40% for students/doctoral students; on presentation of a "student" status evidence accompanied by a request addressed to the Director General of ERSUMA and sent to ersuma@ohada.org
Registration: Registered auditors will receive notification that their payment has been validated and will be invited to join the course.

For participants attending the course in Niamey, the training fees cover training materials, coffee, and lunch breaks during the training days. Travel, accommodation, and other catering costs shall be borne by the participant.
For participants by videoconference, the training fee covers the teaching materials and equipment during the training days. The cost of the internet connection and other catering costs are at the expense of the participant.
