In continuation of his institutional tour as President-in-Office of the OHADA Council of Ministers, His Excellency Mr. Youssouf TOM, Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals and in charge of Human Rights of the Republic of Chad, concluded his visits to the OHADA Institutions with a stop at the Permanent Secretariat on 11 July 2025.

This final stage followed his official missions to the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration in Abidjan (Republic of Côte d'Ivoire) on 7 July, and to the Regional Advanced School of Magistracy in Porto-Novo (Republic of Benin) on 9 July 2025.

In both Benin and Cameroon, as in Côte d'Ivoire, the mission was marked by constructive exchanges with OHADA staff, guided tours of institutional facilities, and official engagements with senior national authorities. In Benin, His Excellency paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Victor Dassi ADOSSOU, President of the Supreme Court, and was received in audience by Mr. Yvon DETCHENOU, Minister of Justice and Legislation. In Cameroon, he was received by Mr. Louis Paul MOTAZE, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Cameroon.

The tour ended with a high-level working session convened at the Permanent Secretariat in Yaoundé, bringing together the Heads of OHADA's three operational Institutions. This meeting provided an opportunity to take stock of institutional performance, strengthen coordination, and reaffirm the strategic vision and priorities of OHADA under the current Chairmanship.
