OHADA Presentation / Investment Climate Department - The World Bank / Kampala, Uganda, 19-21 January, 2010
We are pleased to give you access to the presentation Mr. Akin Akinbote, Attorney at Law, and President, OHADA Club NIGERIA, made on OHADA at a Conference organised by the Investment Climate Department of the World Bank Group in Kampala, Uganda, January 19-21, 2010. The Presentation was on « The OHADA and ECOWAS Treaties as Tools for Regional Integration and Reforms ». (Download presentation) This presentation about OHADA was extremely well received. The participants were top Government officials of Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, Burundi, Burkina Faso and Rwanda in charge of Investment Climate in their respective countries. Speakers were from Mauritius, Singapore, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Rwanda, Belgium, Burkina Faso, Ghana and Nigeria. (Download the conference agenda)It was indeed a very rich audience, including several officials of the Investment Climate Department of the World Bank lead by David Bridgman, the Regional Manager, Investment Climate Advisory Services in Africa. The Conference was declared opened by the Ugandan Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Hon. Ms. Syda Bbumba.
