To commemorate this day, the Permanent Secretariat is organising a documentary exhibition at its headquarters in Yaoundé (Cameroon), as well as a conference on “The autonomy of OHADA law in relation to national laws”. The conference will also be accessible online via the ERSUMA digital platform.
At the invitation of the Alliance francophone des registres du commerce (AFREC) (French-speaking commercial registers association), the OHADA Permanent Secretary took part in the 2nd AFREC Forum on the theme ”French language, cooperation between registers: the potential of the French-speaking world“.
The 3rd edition of the African Arbitration and Mediation Days (JAAM) opened on Thursday 25 July 2024 at the Radisson BLU hotel in Libreville (Gabon) on the theme: “Contemporary Issues in Arbitration and Mediation in Africa”.
On Monday 15 July 2024, OHADA's Permanent Secretariat welcomed a delegation from the OHADA Club of the University of Douala, made up of PhD and other law students, as well as trainee lawyers, notary clerks and accountants.
After visiting the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (CCJA) and the Regional Advanced School of Magistracy (ERSUMA), H.E. Mr Ousmane DIAGNE, President-in-office of the OHADA Council of Ministers, completed his tour of the Organization's operational institutions with a visit to the Permanent Secretariat in Yaoundé (Cameroon) on 11 July 2024.
