On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), the Regional Advanced School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) is organising, on Friday 17 October 2025, an Open Day coupled with the Graduation Ceremony for the first cohort of trainees who successfully completed the following diploma programmes: Specialised Diploma in Corporate Governance (DSGE), Specialised Diploma in OHADA Procedures (DSPO) and OHADA Arbitration Certificate (CAO).

The official graduation ceremony will be presided over by the Minister of Justice and Legislation, Keeper of the Seals of Benin, in the presence of the Permanent Secretary of OHADA, Honorary Patron of this cohort, the Director-General of ERSUMA, as well as numerous guests, including local authorities, representatives of international and sub-regional institutions, technical and financial partners, legal and accounting professional bodies, trainers, students from public and private universities in Benin, the graduates and their families.

In addition to the graduation ceremony, participants present in Porto-Novo will have the opportunity to learn more about the technical services and programmes offered by ERSUMA, meet with other OHADA institutions represented at the event, visit the institution's premises, and purchase specialised publications from the ERSUMA Bookshop and its partners.

On the sidelines of the programme, various festive activities will also be organised for the laureates and distinguished guests.

These events form part of ERSUMA's ongoing commitment to promoting academic excellence, advancing legal education, and fostering the development of OHADA business law.
