The High Regional School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), is organizing in partnership with the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF), its eighth morning training via Zoom, on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm (GMT) on: “Public Debt Sector: COVID 19 Impact and Management”.

This conference is a part of a vast campaign initiated by ERSUMA to raise awareness among professionals and businesses on the institutional, legal, judicial and economic stakes of the pandemic in the OHADA States Parties.

Mr. Karel Osiris Coffi DOGUE, Doctor of Law, Director of Studies with ERSUMA will be the moderator of the training which will be conducted as follow:

• Speaker 1: Prof Issouf SOUMARÉ, PhD, ISE, PRM, FRM, ASC; Full Professor of Finance; Director of Laval University's Financial Engineering Laboratory, faculty of business administration at Laval University , Canada; Founding President of the Institut Soumaré de la Finance; Co-President of the Pan-African Institute for Economic and Financial Governance; President of the Scientific Council of the ENSEA in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire;
• Speaker 2: Mr Souleymane Astou DIAGNE, Doctor of Economic Sciences, University of Paris 13, France; Senior Lecturer, University Alioune Diop of Bambey, Senegal; Permanent Secretary of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council, Senegal;
• Speaker 3: Mr Barthélemy FAYE, Associated Lawyer, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, Paris office, member of the Paris and New York Bars, specialized in sovereign debt financing and management;
• Speaker 4: Mr Christophe WAUTERS, Senior Attorney, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP law firm, Brussels office, registered with the Brussels Bar, specialising in particular in sovereign debt financing and management operation.
