ERSUMA's activities and training sessions in Yaounde (CAMEROON), from july 15 to 19, 2019

The High Regional School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), organizes from July 15 to 19, 2019 in Yaoundé (Cameroon) at the Permanent Secretary of OHADA a series of activities.

1. Training session N°1 on: “Legal and accounting techniques for corporate restructurings: how to realize mergers, demergers, and partial contributions to assets in OHADA Law?”.

This training session mainly aims to build the capacities of the auditors on feasibility study, preparation, realization, execution and accounting processing of mergers, demergers and partial contribution to assets operations.

Trainers:

Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Associate professor of Law, General Director of ERSUMA;
Mr Joël Omer Arnold MABUDU, Chartered Accountant, Managing Director GLOBAL EXPERT, a chartered accounting firm. Co-editor of UAALFR.

Targets: Notaries, lawyers, judges, corportae lawyers, company directors, managers and economic operators, chartered accountants and accountants, auditors, accounting and financing directors, admin and finances directors, agents from accounting departments, chief accountants, management controllers, finances and tax specialists, academics.

Date and time: From July 15 to 18, 2019 ( 4 days)

Cost: 400,000 FCFA

A discount of 10% will be granted to groups of at least three (3) registrations.

2. ERSUMA Morning time - Training on: “Immunity of execution within OHADA zone”.

The main purpose of this session is to reinforce the capacity of the auditors on the concept, objectives, challenges and current issues of immunity from execution as well as the methods of identification of the beneficiaries of immunity from execution. It also considers preventive and curative treatment of the drawbacks of immunity from execution.

Trainers:

Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Associate professor of Law, General Director of ERSUMA;
M. Alexis NDZUENKEU, Judge, Head of legal, communication and documentation department at the Permanent Secretary of OHADA.

Target audience: Judges, Notaries, Lawyers, Court bailiffs, corporate Lawyers, company directors, managers, Management controllers, economic operators, finances specialists, public trustees, academics.

Date and time: Friday July 19th, 2019 from 9 a.m to 1 p.m

Cost: 50,000 FCFA

3. ERSUMA Morning time- Conference on: “OHADA and the improvement of Investment Climate in Cameroon”.

Speaker:

Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Associate professor of Law, General Director of ERSUMA;
Prof. Robert NEMEDEU, Associate professor of Law,, Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Yaoundé 2 SOA.

Target audience: Opened to any public

Date and time: Friday, July 19th, 2019 from 3 p.m to 5 p.m

Venue: University of Yaoudé 2 SOA ( Free admission)

Pay the training fees as follows:
- 400,000 FCFA for the training session on Corporate restructurings techniques
- 50,000 FCFA per Morning time training on Immunity from execution within OHADA zone.

Students and PhD students willing to attend the training session No1 shall enjoy a 40% discount on the training fees when they prove their status by sending a request together with a scanned copy of the student registration certificate to the General Director of ERSUMA at ersuma@ohada.org.

The training fees shall cover the training materials and equipments, coffee and lunch breaks on the training days. The participant shall bear travel, accommodation and other food expenses. For any inquiry about accommodation, please contact us.
