The OHADA Club of Canada is pleased to inform you of the organization on 22 and 23 March 2012 in Montreal of an International Forum entirely dedicated to OHADA promotion. Thursday, March 22, 2012 events, organized in close collaboration with the Institute for Mediation and Arbitration in Quebec (IMAQ) will be devoted to formal meetings between the highest authorities of OHADA and representatives of institutions in Quebec and Canada, university officials and business people. Friday, March 23, 2012 will take the form of an international symposium on the OHADA law in a comparative perspective with Quebec, European and Canadian business laws. Entitled “L'arbitre, l'avocat et les entreprises face au droit des affaires de l'OHADA” the conference will be attended by African, European and Canadian professionals and renown academic speakers (U. of Montreal, U. of Sherbrooke, U. Laval, UQAM, etc. ). The conference proceedings will be published officially in the fall of 2012 in a Canadian law journal. Both days will see the participation Professor Dorothé Cossi Sossa, LL.D. Ottawa, Permanent Secretary of OHADA and the Director of ERSUMA / OHADA, Dr. Felix Onana Étoundi.
