28th Ordinary session of ERSUMA
The 28th ordinary session of the Board of Directors of the Regional Advanced School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of the Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA) took place on Thursday, 19 June 2025, in Bujumbura (Burundi) in person and via videoconference. The session was chaired by Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA and President of the Board.
This session was held on the sidelines of the special meeting of OHADA's Committee of Experts which took place in Bujumbura (Burundi) from 17-20 June 2025.
During this session, board members evaluated the Institution's activities from October 2024 to March 2025, including the Speciality Diplomas and Certificates launched in 2024. After congratulating the Director General and his team for the work accomplished during the period under review, the Board adopted the OHADA-JURISCOPE Thesis Award project and the decision to create OHADA Chairs aimed at strengthening the promotion of research in OHADA law and the dissemination of this law throughout the world. It further provided guidelines to finalise ERSUMA's five years term strategic plan.
