Training for qualifications on the prevention and treatment of companies difficulties: means and methods, from 03rd to 07th September, 2018 in Porto-Novo (Benin)

The Higher Regional School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), organises form 03rd to 07th September 2018, a training for qualifications, on the topic: “Prevention and treatment of companies difficulties: means and methods&rdquyo;.

Initially scheduled to be done in Libreville according to the training catalog, this session will finally be done in ERSUMA headquarters in Porto-Novo.

Its main objective is to build the capacity of auditors for them to determine the contributions for the revision of the Uniform Act organizing the collective proceedings for the wiping up of debts (AUPCAP), the identification of the collective proceedings, persons and situations concerned, the choice of means to deal with the companies difficulties as well as their efficient implementation. The interventions and practical work in this session will help the auditor to understand the progress of the collective proceedings, optimize the management of the company's assets in the implementation of a preventive or curative procedure and securing the debt recovery against a debtor in difficulty.

Venue: ERSUMA headquarters in Porto-Novo (Benin)
Duration/dates: Five (05) days, from 03rd to 07th September, 2018

Target audience: Judges, lawyers, notaries, legal experts, clerks and bailiffs, chartered accountants , legal representatives, auctioneers, banks advisers, insurance advisers, corporate advisers, researchers, economic operators, officers of finance ministries ( Taxes, Treasury, Customs) and other State control body (State and Ministries inspectors).

Trainers:

  • Mrs. Yvette KALIEU ELONGO, Professor of Law. Vice-Dean in charge of tuition and follow-up of students at Dschang University. Coordinator of the Study and Research Group on Law, Institutions and Community Integration (Cameroon).
  • Mr. Mounetaga DIOUF, High Judge, Doctor in Private Law, Executive Secretary of OHADA National Commission of Senegal.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Pay the training costs fixed at 350.000 FCFA.

A discount of 10% will be granted to a group with three (03) registrations from a company or an organization.

Students and postgraduates willing to attend the training will be given 40% discount on the training cost subject to proving their status by submitting an application to ERSUMA General Director at ersuma@ohada.org, with a scanned copy of the registration certificate.

The training costs cover the equipments and teaching materials, coffee breaks, lunch during the training. Travel, accommodation and other restoration expenses shall be borne by the participant. For further information on the proposed accommodation, kindly contact us.
