Courtesy Visit of the Permanent Secretary of OHADA to the Prime Minister, Head of Government of the Republic of Mali

On Tuesday, 19 September 2017, the Permanent Secretary of OHADA was received in audience by the Prime Minister, Head of the Government of the Republic of Mali, HE Mr. Abdoulaye Idrissa MAIGA in the presence of the Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals of Mali, Me. Mamadou KONATE, on the sidelines of the equipment handover ceremony and the launch of a training session, within the framework of the deployment of the software solution for the integrated management of local registers and national files of the trade and securities register (RCCM).
The two personalities exchanged on various issues concerning the life of OHADA. The Prime Minister thanked the Permanent Secretary for selecting Mali to launch the campaign for the handover of equipment and the deployment of the software solution for the integrated management of RCCM's local registers and national files. He congratulated him on the remarkable work accomplished by OHADA.
The Permanent Secretary thanked the Head of Government for the audience granted to him despite his busy schedule and reaffirmed the commitment of the organs and institutions of the Organization to spare no effort to achieve the objectives set by the founding fathers, namely to make Africa a new pole of development.
Following the audience at the Prime Ministers' Office, the Permanent Secretary of OHADA was invited by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Mali to make a presentation on OHADA before the Cabinet Council of the Ministry of Justice, that brings together members of the Cabinet, Directors of central services and Project Managers of the Department. Professor SOSSA exchanged views with these officials on issues as diverse as the status of the entrepreneur, the approved management centers, arbitration and the communitisation of law. At the end of the exchange, the Minister of Justice warmly thanked the Permanent Secretary of OHADA for his visit to Mali and reiterated the support and assistance of his Department to work with OHADA in order to achieve the objectives.
The Permanent Secretary thanked HE Abdoulaye MAIGA, Prime Minister, Head of the Government of the Republic of Mali for the audience which he kindly granted to his delegation. He expresses his gratitude to the Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals of the Republic of Mali, Me Mamadou KONATE, for the arrangements made to guarantee the smooth running of his mission in Mali.
