CCJA - OHADA 2018 list of arbitrators: Call for applications

As part of the updating of its arbitrators list for 2018, the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (CCJA) is calling for applications, in accordance with Decision No. 068/CCJA/ADM/ARRB of April 18th 2018 laying down the procedures for the registration and updating of the list of arbitrators.

“The application file for registration on the Court's list of arbitrators shall include a criminal record less than three months, certified copies of diplomas or proof of registration with a Bar or decisions of appointment as a judge.

A detailed curriculum vitæ is attached to the file, highlighting more specifically the applicant's references in arbitration, mediation or other alternative dispute resolution methods, as well as the special form provided by the Secretary General and duly completed by the applicant.

The application shall be sent with the deposit slip/receipt of two hundred thousand (200,000) CFA francs standing for the registration fees on the Court's list of arbitrators. In the case of unfavorable report, the amount paid shall be fully refunded to the applicant”.

Applicants are requested to send their file through the following emails before December 25TH 2018: centredarbitrage.ccja@ohada.org; yao.ccja@ohada.org. They must attach the required documents, including the special form duly completed and proof of payment of the registration fees.
