ERSUMA Law Review - Call for papers

As part of its research activities for 2018, the Higher Regional School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) launches a call for papers for the publication of its number 8 (1st Semester 2018) publication of the “ESUMA Law Review”.

All contributions relating to business law are published therein. These may focus on the domestic law of Member States, on OHADA law, on any other African Community law or comparative law.

1. Technical specifications of papers:

The ERSUMA Law Review is a semi-annual publication devoted to African Law and comparative business law with the following sections:

  • Doctrinal studies;
  • Case law;
  • legislation;
  • Professional practice;

Contributions shall comply with the following requirements:

  • Contain the full identification of the author (s): surname, given names, title;
  • Be accompanied by the curriculum vitae of the author (s) for first submission for publication at ERSUMA;
  • Be written in one of the working languages of OHADA, namely French, English, Portuguese and Spanish;
  • Be preceded by a compulsory abstract of no more than 300 words in one of the official languages of OHADA which should be the language of the paper;
  • Be accompanied by an optional abstract of no more than 300 words in other OHADA official languages.
  • Observe the following rules on form:
    • file format: Word editable version (.doc or .docx file)
    • title of the paper: in lower case, bold and without box;
    • body of the paper: Cambria font, Size 12, single spacing;
    • headings in the body of the paper: in lower case;
    • footnotes: Cambria, Size 10, single spacing appearing on each page of the paper and not at the end of the entire document;
  • Any person submitting an article for publication shall declare that:
    • his work is original, authentic and has never been published;
    • he has conducted a scientific investigation of all information contained therein.
  • Contributions will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee and the Editorial Board of the Law Review.

2. Contributors

The following persons may submit papers for publication in the ERSUMA Law Review: academics, researchers, magistrates, notaries, lawyers, bailiffs, accountants, legal advisers in companies, banks and insurance sectors, and any law practitioner as well as PhD students.

3. Dateline for submission

Contributions shall reach the ERSUMA Secretariat no later than the 30th April 2018.

    Bonjour,
    Je voudrais savoir si des étudiants peuvent contribuer parce que sur la liste des personnes habilitées à contribuer il n'est mentionné nulle part que des étudiants peuvent contribuer. Je suis titulaire d'un Master 2 Recherche en Droit international et en fin de cycle de Master 2 Professionnel en Relations Internationales à l'IRIC donc je ne suis pas encore inscrite en thèse. Je voudrais savoir si je peux répondre à cet appel à contribution en tant qu'étudiante. Merci pour votre compréhension.
