David Hiez, Professor in private law at the University of Luxembourg, and Willy Tadjudje, PH'D researcher under his supervison, achieved, with the support of the University of Luxembourg, a research project about the new cooperative law in the OHADA area. This already permited a scientific publication (to be published in International handbook of cooperative law, edited by Cracogna, Fici and Henry, Sringers publisher).

Likewise, they drafted a presentation of the new legislation. This document is mainly concieved for the african cooperators in order to help them to get trained about the new law.

In the same purpose, but more concretely, the two researchers have drafted some by-laws' templates that african cooperatives may use.

Finally, to accompany the choice that cooperators must do between the two forms of cooperatives proposed by the uniform act related to the cooperative societies (simplified cooperative or cooperative with board), they have wrote a short synthesis of the differences between them.

All these documents may be freely downloaded here, because of an agrement with RECMA, which is thanked for that. No commercial use is allowed and any infridgement of that strict prohibition may be sued.

The documents may be improved or completed; all your remarks are therefore wellcome.
